Event Summary
Sunday Streets is an open streets event put on as a joint project between SFMTA and Livable City to promote active lifestyles and bicycle and pedestrian activities. These events close streets to automobile traffic and turn them over for bicycle and pedestrian activities. Sunday's event in the Excelsior neighborhood will be from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Street Closures
These streets will be closed to automobiles from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m.:
- Mission between Avalon and Geneva
- Cotter between Mission and Alemany
- Francis between Mission and Alemany
- Santa Rosa between Mission and Alemany
- Onondaga between Mission and Alemany
- Seneca between Mission and Alemany
- Ocean between Persia and Mission
Muni Reroutes
Due to the event's street closures, Muni will reroute the 14 Mission, 14R Mission Rapid, 49 Van Ness/Mission and 52 Excelsior routes around the area. See the table below for reroute details by route.
