В 2021 и 2022 годах мы провели опрос среди местных жителей и узнали об их пожеланиях и приоритетах касательно проекта Geary Boulevard Improvement Project. 

Благодаря отзывам сотен представителей общественности, полученных по результатам двух этапов взаимодействия с ними, нам удалось разработать подробных проект, который будет передан на утверждение Совету директоров агентства SFMTA в начале 2023 года.

Обзор мер оптимизации движения транспорта и повышения общей безопасности

Map showing proposed bus stop relocations/removals: • At Geary and 25th Avenue, the inbound Rapid bus stop is proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. The outbound Rapid bus stop relocation is now proposed to be dropped. • At Geary and 23rd Avenue inbound, the local stop is proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. • At Geary and 22nd Avenue outbound, the local stop is proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. • At Geary and 20th Avenue, both the inbound and outbound Rapid bus stops are proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. • At Geary and 17th Avenue, the inbound bus stop is proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. The outbound bus stop relocation is now proposed to be dropped. • At Geary and Park Presidio inbound, the Rapid stop is proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. • At Geary and 12th Avenue, both the inbound and outbound local bus stops are proposed to be removed. • At Geary and 6th Avenue, both inbound and outbound Rapid bus stops are proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection. • At Geary and 3rd Avenue, the outbound local stop is proposed to be relocated from the near side to the far side of the intersection.

Map showing proposed new bulb-outs on Geary Boulevard. • New bus bulb-outs (sidewalk extensions at bus stops) are proposed at 25th, 20th, Park Presidio, 6th Avenue and Arguello. • New pedestrian bulb-outs (sidewalk extensions at intersection corners) are proposed at 30th, 29th, 28th, 27th, 25th, 22nd, 12th, 11th, 6th, 4th and 3rd avenues.
