There is no processing fee for all new applications and person renewals.
The in-person processing fee for a replacement card is $3.
If you are an existing RTC customer with a permanent disability (designated by a red "P" on the card) you can submit your renewal request using the online form below. No fee or in-person visit is required. For all other renewals call 415.646.2224.
New medical applications are accepted at the SFMTA Customer Service Center (11 South Van Ness Avenue/Monday - Friday from 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M). Please bring a completed application and a valid government-issued ID.
