Saturday, October 27 through Sunday, October 28: Following last weekend’s overnight work, the final repaving work to complete the M Ocean View Improvement Project is scheduled for this Saturday night. This project is a partnership between the SFMTA and SF Public Works that will bring vital pedestrian safety and transit system upgrades to keep M trains moving safely and reliably through busy 19th Avenue traffic. For project information, visit: sfmta.com/mon19thavenue.
From approximately, 8 p.m., Saturday, October 27, crews from SF Public Works will begin work and will partially close southbound traffic lanes on 19th Avenue between Eucalyptus and Winston drives. Work will continue through the night until 5 a.m., Sunday, October 28. To keep traffic moving during construction, two southbound lanes will remain open and northbound lanes will be unaffected. Crews will grind out old pavement and then repave the roadway in sections. Nearby residents may notice some noise when the pavement is being ground out.
Beginning on Monday, October 29, lanes will be painted on the new pavement allowing for parking to return to the area near the project. Thanks for your patience during this vital safety project.
