Much fun at the KQED Fest
Project team members tabled at the KQED fest on Saturday, April 29, and it was tremendous success. Over the course of this seven-hour event (hosted by one of Potrero Yard's closest neighbors) we provided updates and answered questions from hundreds of community members and handed out swag — along with 500 tasty yogurt parfait treats created by locally-owned El Corazón Café . We were very happy to be part of this multi-faceted event and continue the public outreach that is so important to our project.

Working Group tours affordable housing site
The May 2 Neighborhood Working Group meeting found the members at the Casa Adelante housing development at 681 Florida Street for a site tour and discussion of affordable housing topics. The facility features 130 units, two commercial spaces, and is at 100% capacity — and is now home to families, seniors and formerly unhoused people. .
