The Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place Quick-Build Project was approved by the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Board at the October 1, 2024 meeting.

Construction is starting today and is expected to wrap up by November 1, 2024. Below is the working construction schedule, which is subject to change:
- Roadway resurfacing: 10/2-10/16, starting with base repair on the southbound side of the corridor
- Roadway striping and sign installation: 10/17-11/1
- Construction of intersection islands at the McAllister and Grove intersections: 10/18-10/25
