Balboa Park Station BART entrance closure on San Jose Ave

For our Muni customers who transfer to/from BART at the Balboa Park Station, please be advised that starting Monday, October 3, 2016, the Balboa Park Station BART entrance on San Jose Ave will be closed until the end of the year.

The closure is for pedestrian safety while BART and SFMTA are completing construction projects on the east side of the station.

SFMTA projects include Green Light Rail Center Track Replacements and Balboa Park Station Area and Plaza Improvements. BART is continuing to work on their Eastside Connection Project. When finished, these projects will improve safety and access to the station.

In the meantine, to exit and enter the station, please use the entrances on Ocean Avenue and Geneva Avenue.
