The Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) Project is pleased to announce that it has completed its search and selection for participants for the Van Ness BRT Community Advisory Committee (CAC).
The CAC will provide input to the Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit project team by providing varied perspectives from the surrounding community and city, including feedback and guide decisions related to the design, construction and implementation of the Van Ness BRT. The issues, goals, and concerns relating to the surrounding community will be taken into consideration within the context of supporting this important project.
The CAC meetings are scheduled as follows:
· First meeting: Thursday, June 26, 6-7:30pm
Schedule of meetings:
· every 4th Thursday of the month for June, July and August
· Bi-monthly meetings from October to December
Location: One South Van Ness, Union Square Conference Room, 7th floor
Agendas will be posted on the project website 2 weeks prior the scheduled meeting.
