- A total of 223,058 Pilot trips were provided through Q1 of 2024, increasing over 492% from 2023-Q1 to 2024-Q1.

- Third-Party Trips are extending the density of taxi trips in outer neighborhoods in San Francisco that have historically been underserved by the taxi industry.
- The number of drivers participating in the Pilot continues to increase each quarter, growing by 54.3% from 2023-Q1 to 2024-Q1.

- Overall, a total of 586 unique drivers have participated in the pilot, providing at least 1 pilot trip.
- Drivers who service Third-Party Trips earned on average 38.1% more in fare revenue during 2024-Q1 than drivers who did not provide Pilot trips.
- Drivers who provided Third-Party Trips earned an average of $2,069 per month from those trips alone in 2024-Q1, which represents an 89.3% increase from 2023-Q1 ($1,093).
The full report includes additional data analysis and updates on the Pilot metrics. Because of the open-ended nature of some of the metrics, staff will continue to provide quarterly reports on all metrics to transparently share relevant data. Based on key stakeholder feedback and staff assessment, metrics and targets have been and may continue to be updated during the Pilot term.
