Public Hearing Notice: SFMTA Board of Directors Meeting, October 18, 2022

Notice is hereby given that the SFMTA Board of Directors intends to hold a public hearing on the following items and on other matters on Tuesday, October 18, 2022, beginning at 1:00pm. Additional information may be found on the meeting webpage. 

• Amending Transportation Code, Division II, Article 1100, Sections 1102, 1105, 1108 - 1110, 1116, 1119- 1121, and 1124 to increase the standard taxi fare, to update the Gate Fee definition and clarify the Gate Fee cap, to remove outdated references to the Board of Appeals, to allow Medallion Holders to hold a maximum of 50 Transferable Medallions, and other non-substantive clean up, including minor grammatical fixes.
• Amending Transportation Code, Division II, to correct administrative errors that occurred during the Fiscal Year (FY) 2023 and FY 2024 Operating and Capital Budget approval process, including modifications to fees, penalties and charges, for color curb, general loading, and red zone driveway fees; towing and storage fees; temporary no-parking sign posting fees; signs and parking space removal or relocation fees; taxi permit fees, non-standard vehicle permit fees, and amending fees under the general permit conditions for the fiscal years beginning July 1, 2022, and July 1, 2023.
