Notice is hereby given that the SFMTA Board of Directors intends to hold a public hearing on the following item and on other matters on Tuesday, February 6, 2024, beginning at 1:00pm. Additional information may be found on the meeting webpage.
- Proposed Legislation: Amending Transportation Code, Division II, Section 702 to reduce the speed limit on the following 7 City street segments: Clipper Street, between Douglass Street and a point approximately 280 feet easterly; Diamond Heights Boulevard between Clipper Street and Sussex Street; John Muir Drive between Skyline Boulevard and a point approximately 2,500 feet southeasterly; Geary Boulevard between Presidio Avenue and Wood Street on the depressed section; Geary Expressway between Gough Street and Presidio Avenue; John Muir Drive between the County Line and a point approximately 3,300 feet northwesterly; and Mansell Street between Visitacion Avenue and Persia Avenue.
- Proposed Legislation: Approving various parking and traffic modifications along the M Ocean View line in the Ocean View neighborhood as part of the M Ocean View Transit and Safety Project; designating Class II and Class IV bikeways on 19th Avenue between Beverly and Randolph (south) streets; and amending Transportation Code, Division II, Section 601, to designate full-time transit-only areas on San Jose Avenue northbound between Broad Street and Niagara Avenue and southbound between Niagara Avenue and Farallones Street.
