Notice is hereby given that the SFMTA Board of Directors intends to hold a public hearing on the following items and on other matters on Tuesday, August 6, 2024, beginning at 1:00pm. Additional information may be found on the meeting webpage.
- Proposed Legislation: Amending Transportation Code, Division II, Section 503 to add a commercial tour bus restriction on 8th Avenue between Cabrillo and Fulton Streets.
- Proposed Legislation: Amending Transportation Code, Division II, Section 601 to designate a Transit-only lane on Harrison Street, westbound, from Lapu-Lapu Street and 4th Street.
- Proposed Legislation: Amending Transportation Code, Division II, Section 902 to authorize the Director of Transportation to waive all SFMTA fees associated with events determined to be eligible for fee waivers as Qualifying Neighborhood Outdoor Events, consistent with Board of Supervisors’ legislation waiving fees related to the temporary closure of streets for events organized by community-serving nonprofit arts and culture organizations, small businesses, merchant association, neighborhood resident associations, and property and business improvement districts, and meeting certain criteria, with the authorization to expire on June 30, 2026.
