PUBLIC HEARING
FOR PROPOSED PARKING & TRAFFIC CHANGES

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Board of Directors will hold a public hearing to solicit public input on the following proposed changes. The hearing will be held as follows:
Date/Time: Tuesday, May 1, at 1:00 pm
Location: Room 400, City Hall, San Francisco
(located on Van Ness Avenue between McAllister and Grove Streets)
Agenda will be posted at www.sfmta.com/board at least 72 hours before the meeting

ESTABLISH – TOW AWAY NO STOPPING ANY TIME

  • Sloat Boulevard, south side, from 33 feet to 100 feet west of Everglade Drive (removes 3 general parking spaces)
  • Sloat Boulevard, south side, from Lakeshore Plaza Drive to 20 feet easterly (removes 1 general parking space)
  • Sloat Boulevard, south side, from 95 feet to 115 feet east of Lakeshore Plaza Drive (removes 1 general parking space)
  • Sloat Boulevard, north side, from 37th Avenue to 100 feet easterly (removes 4 general parking spaces)

ESTABLISH – BUS ZONE

  • Sloat Boulevard, north side, from 65 feet to 145 feet west of 36th Avenue (extends existing bus zone by 80 feet removing 4 general parking spaces)

ESTABLISH – YELLOW LOADING ZONE, 6AM – 6PM, MONDAY – SATURDAY

  • Sloat Boulevard, south side, from 20 feet to 95 feet east of Lakeshore Plaza Drive (establishes a 75 foot loading zone)

Items denoted with an asterisk (*) can be approved by the City Traffic Engineer after the public hearing and such approval constitutes the CEQA Approval Action under S.F. Administrative Code Section 31.04(h). Otherwise, the SFMTA Board will make the final approval at a later date based on the outcome at the public hearing. California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) Appeal Rights under Chapter 31 of the San Francisco Administrative Code: For Approval Actions, the Planning Department has issued a CEQA exemption determination or negative declaration, which may be viewed online at http://www.sf-planning.org/index.aspx?page=3447 . Following approval of the item by the SFMTA City Traffic Engineer, the CEQA determination is subject to appeal within the time frame specified in S.F. Administrative Code Section 31.16, typically within 30 calendar days of the Approval Action. Under CEQA, in a later court challenge, a litigant may be limited to raising only those issues previously raised at a hearing on the project or in written correspondence delivered to the Board of Supervisors or other City board, commission or department at, or prior to, such hearing, or as part of the appeal hearing process on the CEQA decision
