The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) which operates Muni, is seeking public comment on draft Title VI policies used to evaluate impacts of major service changes and fare changes.  The Policies establishes thresholds to determine when impacts of major service changes and fare changes adversely affect minority and low income populations.

SFMTA is seeking input to these draft Policies in response to recent changes made by the Federal Transit Administration (FTA) to its Title VI requirements (http://www.fta.dot.gov/documents/FTA_Title_VI_FINAL.pdf).  The draft Policies will be presented at upcoming public meetings.  We want to ensure that our customers and stakeholders are aware of our draft Policies and have the opportunity to provide comment.

The SFMTA will host public meetings to discuss these policies on:

  • Saturday, June 22, 2013 - 10:30am - 12:00pm at 1 South Van Ness, 2nd Floor
  • Tuesday, June 25, 2013  -  6:30pm  - 8:00pm  at 1 South Van Ness, 2nd Floor

  • Comments may also be mailed to:
