The Van Ness Improvement Project is seeking community members to fill vacated seats on its Van Ness Bus Rapid Transit Community Advisory Committee and Van Ness Business Advisory Committee.
The Van Ness BRT CAC meets monthly to provide community guidance and input and the project make the project team aware of community priorities and concerns. People who live, work, visit and travel to Van Ness Avenue and the project corridor are encouraged to apply. Download the Van Ness BRT CAC membership application for more information and to apply.
The Van Ness BAC meets every other month to provide recommendations and advice on ways the City can support businesses during construction while providing a forum for businesses to resolve for issues related to construction. This committee also oversees development of marketing support for Van Ness corridor businesses. Leaders representing businesses in the project corridor are encouraged to apply.
