We are co-hosting an informational meeting with our partners at BART to discuss and answer questions about the construction impacts from upcoming improvements to the Balboa Park Station and surrounding area.
The improvements include a new, landscaped median, sidewalk widening and red transit-only lanes on Geneva Ave, and installations of pedestrian-scale lighting, pedestrian push buttons, ADA-compliant curb ramps and 13 new wayfinding signs along the perimeter of the facility.

This Wednesday we’re hosting an open house to share proposed improvements for the L Taraval. The L Taraval Rapid Project includes pedestrian safety and transit priority proposals that will make it safer for people walking, and increase the reliability of Muni.

The Powell Street Safety and Sidewalk Improvement Pilot will test the effectiveness of vehicle restrictions on transit delay, traffic volumes, loading patterns, and cable wear and tear. It would prohibit all vehicles except Muni, taxis, and commercial vehicles from driving on Powell Street between Ellis and Geary Streets. Stop by to learn more!
