Muni's late-night transit service is called the Owl network and it's the strongest in the region. Owl service runs every half hour between 12 a.m. and 5 a.m. nightly, serving San Franciscans and off-peak commuters. Muni Owls are also part of a regional late night transportation network called the All Nighter, which includes 20+ routes running overnight bus service connecting AC Transit, SamTrans, and Golden Gate Transit.
