Post Incident Summaries January 2014

Friday, January 31

• From 6:18 to 7:50 p.m., the 54 Felton Route was routed around the area of Ingalls Street and Shafter Avenue in both directions due to police activity.
• From 5:22 to 5:58 p.m., the F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Jefferson and Powell streets by a stalled streetcar. Northbound F streetcars were switched back at Pier 39.
• From 8:00 to 8:44 a.m., the eastbound N Judah Line was delayed at Judah Street and 23rd Avenue due to an overhead wire issue.  Trains switched back at Judah Street and Sunset.  Bus shuttles supplemented service.

Thursday, January 30

• From 8:00 to 8:47 p.m., the northbound M Oceanview Line was blocked at 19th Avenue and Junipero Serra Boulevard by a disabled automobile on the track way. Northbound M trains were routed over the northbound K Ingleside Line. Bus shuttles supplemented M line service.
• From 1:29 to 3:08 p.m., the Powell Mason Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Wednesday, January 29

• From 9:33 to 11:40 a.m., the 39 Coit route was delayed at Union Street between Grant and Montgomery streets due to being blocked by a non-Muni vehicle.  Buses were re-rotued around the area.

Sunday, January 26

• From 5:05 to 5:35 p.m., the eastbound 54 Felton Route was re-routed around the area of Earl Street and Kirkwood Avenue due to police activity.

Friday, January 24

• From 6:47 to 11:24 a.m., the California Cable Car Line was delayed at California and Drumm streets due to a mechanical issue. 

Thursday, January 23

• From 11:56 a.m. to 3:00 p.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 11:39 a.m. to 12:48 a.m., the California Cable Car Line was blocked at California and Taylor Street by a non-Muni vehicle.  Bus shuttles supplemented service.  
• From 8:35 a.m. to 9:19 a.m., the northbound K Ingleside Line was blocked at Ocean Avenue and Lee Street due to a non-Muni accident. 

Wednesday. January 22

• From 1:44 to 2:30 p.m., the California Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Tuesday, January 21

• From 4:50 to 8:10 p.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 1:05 to 7:43 p.m., the Powell Mason Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Monday, January 20

• From 10:20 p.m. to 12:25 a.m. Tuesday, the westbound 29 Sunset Route was re-routed around the area of Gilman Avenue and Jennings Street due to police activity.
• From 10:50 a.m. to 1:18 p.m., the southbound M Oceanview Line was switched back at Broad Street and Plymouth Avenue due to a disabled train at the Muni Metro Yard near San Jose and Geneva avenues. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Sunday, January 19

• From 9:16 to 10:43 p.m., the westbound 31 Balboa Route was re-routed abound the area of Turk and Mason streets due to police activity.
• From 7:23 to 8:06 p.m., the northbound K Ingleside Line was blocked at Junipero Serra Boulevard and Ocean Avenue by a disabled automobile on the tracks. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 8:09 to 11:00 a.m., the Powell Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Friday, January 17

• From 7:51 to 8:21 p.m., the 44 O'Shaughnessy Route was re-routed in both directions around the area of Silver and Revere avenues due to a non Muni accident.

Thursday, January 16

• From 11:48 p.m. to 12:48 a.m. Friday, the southbound T Third Line was blocked at Third Street and Palou Avenue by police activity. Southbound T trains switched back at Third Street and Evans Avenue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 10:37 to 11:22 p.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at Market and First streets by a stalled streetcar.
• From 8:22 to 9:24 p.m., the southbound F Market and Wharves Line was blocked at Beach and Taylor streets by a non Muni accident. Northbound F streetcars switched back at Pier 39. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 12:55 to 1:30 p.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at 17th and Hartford streets by a stalled streetcar. Westbound F streetcars switched back at 17th and Noe streets.

Tuesday, January 14

• From 9:45 to 10:20 p.m., the westbound L Taraval Line was delayed at Taraval Street and 22nd Avenue by a stalled train.
• From 8:48 to 10:19 p.m., the westbound N Judah Line was blocked at Judah Street and 46th Avenue by police activity. Westbound N trains switched back at Sunset Boulevard.
• From 1:55 to 2:25 p.m., the inbound Muni Metro subway service was delayed at Forest Hill station due to a stalled train. Bus shuttles supplemented service between Embarcadero and West Portal stations.
• From 9:31 to 10:11 a.m., the westbound L Taraval Line was delayed at Ulloa Street and 14th Avenue due to a mechanical issue.  The L Taraval line was routed over the M Ocean View line.  Shuttle buses supplemented service. 

Saturday, January 11

• From 6:30 to 7:16 p.m., the westbound L Taraval Line was delayed at Taraval Street and 35th Avenue due to a stalled train. Bus shutlles supplemented line service.

Friday, January 10

• From 7:42 to 9:10 p.m., the southbound J Church Line was delayed at Church and 20th streets due to a stalled train. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 12:25 to 12:53 p.m., the eastbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed at the Ferry Loop due to a street car with a mechanical issue.  The street car was taken taken out of service. 

Wednesday, January 8

• From 5:25 to 6:25 p.m., the southbound 27 Bryant Route and Northbound 19 Polk and 47 Van Ness Routes were routed around the area of Seventh Street between Folsom and Harrison streets due to a non Muni accident.

Tuesday, January 7

• From 8:27 to 9:07 p.m., the L Taraval Line was blocked in both directions at Taraval Street and 32nd Avenue by a non Muni accident. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.

Monday, January 6

• From 5:56 to 7:09 p.m., the westbound N Judah Line was delayed at Carl and Stanyan streets due to a disabled train. Westbound N trains switched back at Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street. Bus shuttles supplemented line service between Duboce Avenue and Fillmore Street to Judah and La Playa streets.

Saturday, January 4

• From 12:49 to 2:30 p.m., the northtbound F Market and Wharves Line was delayed along The Embarcadero at Bay Street due to a Muni involved accident. Bus shuttles supplemented line service between The Ferry Building and Beach and Jones streets, while eastbound F streetcars switched back at The Ferry Building.

Thursday, January 2

• From 6:22 to 6:57 p.m., the northbound J Church Line was delayed at Ocean and San Jose avenues by a stalled train. Southbound J trains were switched back at Church and Day streets. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
• From 6:08 to 6:50 a.m., the southbound T Third Line was blocked at 3rd Street between Jerrold and Palou Avenue by police activity.  Switch back southbound to northbound at 3rd Street and Evans Avenue and northbound to southbound at 3rd Street and Armstrong Avenue.    

Wednesday, January 1

• From 4:25 to 8:07 p.m., the Powell Mason Cable Car Line was down due to a cable issue. Bus shuttles supplemented line service.
