Join us Saturday, May 5 at 10 am for the Wiggle Neighborhood Green Corridor Walking Tour!

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA), San Francisco Public Utilities Commission (SFPUC) and San Francisco Department of Public Works (SFDPW) will host a walking tour of the recently completed Wiggle Neighborhood Green Corridor. Learn how the City bringing stormwater management, neighborhood beautification, and bicycle and pedestrian safety to the Lower Haight and Alamo Square neighborhoods.

The walking tour will begin in Duboce Park near Steiner and Hermann. As part of the tour you'll learn about how green infrastructure technologies, such as rain gardens and permeable pavement, are being implemented throughout the City to improve our sewer system, help manage stormwater, provide wildlife habitat and improve pedestrian accessibility.

The tour will include a seven block walk of the Wiggle with several stops at key green infrastructure and safety features. Project team members will be available to answer your questions about bicycle and pedestrian safety improvements, green infrastructure technologies and how they will be maintained.
