Get a free Muni ride home in San Francisco on New Year’s Eve. The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) and 76 have teamed up to offer free rides from 8 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31, 2018 through 5 a.m. on Wednesday, January 1, 2019. In line with Vision Zero, the city’s policy to eliminate all traffic fatalities, San Franciscans—drivers, pedestrians, and transit riders—should be able to get to their destination safely. So, let a Muni bus, train or cable car get you there. Ride Muni Free on New Year’s Eve.
