Join us at an open house to learn about proposed improvements to the 8X Bayshore Express!
Wednesday, November 19, 2014 from 6:00-7:30 p.m. at Crocker Amazon Playground Clubhouse.
Muni is working on multiple fronts to make getting around San Francisco safer and more reliable for our customers. As part of this effort, we’re improving transit corridors throughout the city, including the 8X Bayshore Express. Proposed improvements along Geneva, Visitacion, and Bayshore are designed to reduce travel time by 9 minutes in each direction.
Proposed changes will:
- Improve pedestrian safety at intersections with pedestrian sidewalk extensions
- Improve route reliability by optimizing transit stop locations at seven intersections
- Make boarding the bus quicker and more comfortable by adding transit sidewalk extensions
- Establish one mile of transit-only lanes on Geneva Avenue
Join staff at any time during the open house to ask questions and discuss these improvements.
Learn more about the details behind these improvements. If you are unable to attend or would like to provide comments online, take our project survey.
