8th Avenue Neighborway Project Open House

Share this:
Oct 18

Please join the SFMTA for an community open house for the 8th Avenue Neighborway Project. The goal of this project is to make 8th Avenue a more pleasant place to walk and bike to neighborhood destinations and nearby parks. Right now, 8th Avenue carries more than twice the traffic volumes of similar parallel streets. This project is proposing changes to 8th Avenue - including forced turns for vehicles - in order to calm 8th Avenue and bring traffic volumes down to a comparable level with neighboring streets.

This open house is an opportunity to learn about proposed traffic calming and circulation changes and provide your feedback.

For a preview of what we’ll be discussing at the Open House, please visit www.sfmta.com/8th. Contact the project manager, Charlie Ream, at Charlie.Ream@sfmta.com with any questions or concerns you might have.

WHERE: Richmond Branch Library (Please use the 10th Ave. entrance to access the Community Room)

WHEN: Wednesday, October 18 (drop in at your convenience from 6 - 8 p.m.)
