The SFMTA is hosting a series of five workshops this summer to consult with project stakeholders and community groups about the design of the street. At the second stakeholder workshop, staff will revisit the project goals developed by the attendees of the first meeting. Project staff will then outline the design constraints, including policies, design guidelines, funding requirements, and physical constraints. Following the staff presentation, attendees will provide input to shape the conceptual design for Powell Street. Each of the workshops builds on the previous ones, so attendance at all meetings is highly recommended.
Following the workshops, an Open House will be held in Fall 2017 to present the design that staff has developed in consultation with project stakeholders and community groups and to recieve feedback on the design from the public.
If you are interested in joining us at the next workshop, please contact the SFMTA project manager at Dan.Howard@sfmta.com.
