The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) invites you to a community Open House to discuss proposed safety improvements to 17th Street between Church and Sanchez streets.
Following up on the comments and feedback received since the February 22nd community meeting, the SFMTA is proposing to remove parking and add protected, curb-side bike lanes on both sides of this part of 17th Street.
The SFMTA has attempted a number of solutions in the past several years to minimize the number of crashes involving people biking alongside and across the streetcar tracks, but crashes are still occurring.
As bicycling becomes a more common way to get around San Francisco, the SFMTA strives to make it a safe, comfortable, and viable way to get around the city. We hope you can join us in discussing how to move forward in this area at our upcoming community meeting.
Thursday, June 15, 2017 from 6:30 PM to 7:30 PM

630 Valencia Street (at 17th Street)
