EMPLOYER-BASED (PRETAX) SALES PROGRAMS
The federal government allows employers to offer a monthly set aside (up to $315 as of 2024) pretax to support employees’ use of transit. Employers may sign up with a vendor such as the ones listed below to allow their employees to purchase Muni monthly passes and other transit fare media on a pretax basis.
The list below does not represent the SFMTA’s endorsement of specific vendors, and employers are encouraged to continue to research pre-tax provider options. Please refer to individual websites below for details about each vendor.
