Summer is a slow season for public meetings. Our Board of Directors will meet next Tuesday and on Tuesday, August 16. Their full, two meetings per month schedule will resume in September. Their meeting schedule is kept on our Board meeting page.

The agenda's for next week's meeting has not been finalized, but it will include a presentation on our $3.44 billion five-year capital investment plan as well as an overview of land use planning.

Our Board of Directors meetings are usually held on the first and third Tuesdays of each month. The agendas are posted under “meetings” on the Board’s web page 72 hours in advance of the meeting. All regular meetings can be viewed on The City channel 78 or online at the SFGovTV2

Join the SFMTA for an opportunity to provide additional feedback on proposed changes regarding Taraval Street improvements. Proposed alterations include building boarding islands, installing a transit-only lane, building pedestrian bulbs and consolidating L Taraval stops. All of the details on the proposed parking and traffic modifications, including transit proposals, can be found on the hearing agenda (.pdf). Learn more on the project page.

 

Opinions on these proposed changes may be filed in writing prior to the hearing with SFMTA Transportation Engineering, 1 South Van Ness Avenue, 7th Floor, San Francisco, CA 94103-5417.
