Overnight Maintenance Along the T Third

SFMTA is developing an ongoing maintenance program for the T Third line to build on the work completed during the Fix It! weekends. The program will establish a regular schedule for inspecting, cleaning, and maintaining platforms and shelters, gates, rail infrastructure, and other passenger amenities to help keep the corridor in a state of good repair and address maintenance needs before they become larger issues.

Upcoming work is scheduled from September through October 2026 and will take place from midnight to 5 a.m., to minimize impacts on riders and the surrounding community.

The Evans platform scheduled for maintenance on September 15 has been successfully completed.

Crews will perform routine maintenance and cleaning as part of SFMTA’s ongoing efforts to keep Muni facilities clean, safe and in good condition.
