SFMTA Board of Directors Meeting
Tuesday, October 16th, 2018 1:00 pm
City Hall, Room 400
1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Pl.

SFMTA staff will be presenting the Safer Taylor project proposal to the SFMTA Board of Directors. This presentation culminates 18 months of planning and public engagement, leading to a proposal that creates a space for all to enjoy through wider and more comfortable sidewalks, new traffic signals, a calmer roadway, improved loading zones, more visible intersections, and streetscape improvements like lighting & landscaping. This community-driven project aims to improve transportation safety & livability on Taylor Street from Market to Sutter streets. For more about the project, please visit the project webpage at www.sfmta.com/safertaylor. Illustrations of the proposed concepts can be viewed here.

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) Board of Directors will decide whether or not to approve these proposed improvements at City Hall, Tuesday, October 16th, 2018. The hearing will take place on the fourth floor, Room 400, at 1:00 pm. We invite you to attend and share your thoughts about these changes.

If you unable to attend, your feedback is still more than welcome! Please send your comments to Shivam Vohra by email at Shivam.Vohra@sfmta.com or the Office of the SFMTA Board of Directors at (415) 701-4505 or by email at MTABoard@sfmta.com.
