Open House for Proposed Improvements to Muni 30 Stockton

Monday, November 10, 2014

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) , which oversees all transportation in the city, including the Municipal Railway (Muni), is hosting an open house to address proposed improvements to Muni’s 30 Stockton bus line.

Proposed changes to be discussed at the open house include:

  • Widening sidewalks at bus stops and crosswalks
  • Adjusting transit stop spacing
  • Creating transit-only lanes along congested portions of the route

These proposed changes are part of Muni Forward’s effort to provide a safer walk, a more frequent and reliable service, and a more comfortable experience along some of Muni’s most heavily used lines, including the 30 Stockton.

At the open house, attendees will have the opportunity to engage with SFMTA representatives, ask questions, and further discuss the proposed changes. There will be no presentation.

SFMTA is actively seeking rider input on these proposed changes. For customers unable to attend Wednesday’s open house, SFMTA has created an online questionnaire.
