Due to the San Francisco Marathon, many Muni routes and lines will be subject to reroutes or delays at various times throughout the race. Stops in affected areas will be missed. Expect delays throughout the City. Reroutes are shown on this page, but are complicated. If you are planning to take any of these Muni lines on the morning of the race, please contact the San Francisco 311 Customer Service Center, open 24/7, for alternate stop information.

The L-OWL provides regular service in conjunction with the irregular K-OWL and M-OWL. It is a local route, with a short express section. A transfer at West Portal to or from one of these other lines may be necessary to continue your trip between Downtown and outlying areas.

L-Taraval Owl (1:00-5:00 am) Service

Inbound

Wawona and 46th Avenue (San Francisco Zoo) via Wawona, 46th Avenue, Taraval, 15th Avenue, Ulloa (West Portal station), Claremont, Dewey, Laguna Honda to Forest Hill station, then Woodside, Portola, Market (surface) (uses island stops before Fremont, one curb stop after), Steuart to Ferries. Stops from West Portal station to Forest Hill station, and on Market west of Castro by passenger request to operator.

Outbound

Steuart, Market (uses island stops), Portola, Woodside, Laguna Honda to Forest Hill station, Dewey, Claremont, Ulloa (West Portal station), 15th Avenue, Taraval, 46th Avenue, Vicente, 47th Avenue, Wawona to 46th Avenue. L-Taraval Owl Weekend Morning (After 5:00 am) Service

Wawona and 46th Avenue (San Francisco Zoo) via Wawona, 46th Avenue, Taraval, 15th Avenue, Ulloa (West Portal station), West Portal Avenue, Vicente, Portola, Laguna Honda to Forest Hill station, then Woodside, Portola, Market (surface) (uses island stops before Fremont, one curb stop after), Steuart to Ferries.
