Welcome to the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency's (SFMTA) taxi website.

On March 1, 2009, the former Taxicab Commission merged with the SFMTA as a result of  the Board of Supervisors' enactment of Section 1075.1 of the Police Code, providing that the SFMTA now has the power to regulate the taxi industry in San Francisco.
