Central Richmond Traffic Calming Project

This project was made possible in part by the San Francisco County Transportation Authority through a grant of Proposition K Local Sales Tax Funds.

Project Update

Thanks to all who have participated in the community process for this planning effort.  On October 2, 2008, a presentation was made to the community outlining the project background and the final traffic calming report.  The presentation can be seen using Adobe Acrobat, and can be found by clicking on Community Meeting #2 October 2, 2008 PowerPoint Presentation.  On January 6, 2009, the SFMTA Board approved the report.  The SFMTA Traffic Calming Program will now seek funds for the work and begin phased implementation of the report later in 2009.

Revised Final Plan

Please make note that some speed humps were removed from the plan originally presented to the community due to concerns raised by Muni and the San Francisco Fire Department.
