Sometime in 2010, the SFMTA will continue the Rail Improvement Project at the intersections of Taraval at 19th Avenue and Taraval at Sunset Boulevard, and then Church Street at 18th Street, San Jose Street at 30th Street and Church Street at 30th Street. In addition to replacing and repairing aging Muni streetcar tracks and track components, the project will also include long-overdue enhancements to the surrounding area such as street repaving and restriping, sidewalk improvements and upgraded water lines.
