As an organization striving to provide safe and reliable public transportation, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) is committed to constantly improving access to our products and services. We are in the process of introducing new fare media items and adopting new technologies. Please use this Web site to familiarize yourself with the products that most suit your needs.
Route and fare information is also available by calling the San Francisco 311 Customer Service Center or 511. Muni has transitioned most paper monthly passes to the Clipper card, your all-in-one reloadable regional transit fare payment card.
