About the Taxi Advisory Group

The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency Taxi Advisory Group (TAG) was an advisory passive meeting body that provided input regarding the SFMTA’s Business Merger Plan. The TAG was composed of nine members. Members included one representative each for taxicab drivers; medallion holders, color schemes, special events, hospitality industry, senior and disabled and three members of the public.

The Taxi Advisory Group conducted five meetings to discuss proposed merger-related issues only, held every two weeks beginning August 21, 2008.
