About the Taxi Advisory Council
The San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) Board of Directors has authorized the formation of a Taxi Advisory Council (TAC) that will provide diverse representation from all segments of the San Francisco taxi industry to monitor the implementation of the Taxi Medallion Sales Pilot Program and advise the Board on long-term reform. The Advisory Council is required to prepare a report containing its assessment of the Taxi Medallion Sales Pilot Program and its recommendations regarding a long-term Medallion reform program no later than December 31, 2010.
