The Director of Parking and Traffic will hold a public hearing on Friday, August 14, 2009, at10:00 AM, in Room 416 (Hearing Room 4), City Hall, 1 Dr. Carlton B. Goodlett Place, SanFrancisco, CA 94102, to consider the following proposals:

NO TURN ON RED (during NBLT PHASE ONLY) - ESTABLISH

Shrader Street, southbound, at Fell Street.

(This turn restriction will be implemented in combination with a traffic signal modification to install an extinguishable NRT sign for southbound Shrader Street.)

GENERAL METERED PARKING - RESCINDMETERED MOTORCYCLE PARKING - ESTABLISH

Bryant Street, south side, from 76 feet to 98 feet east of 4th Street (Removes one metered parking space (#331-05850) and establishes 5 metered motorcycle parking spaces);

Second Street, south side, from 84 feet to 108 feet east of Taber Place (Removes one metered parking space (#202-05400) and establishes 6 metered motorcycle parking spaces).

STOP SIGN - ESTABLISH

Benton Avenue at Andover Street, stopping the stem of this uncontrolled T-intersection;

Hattie Street at 18th Street, stopping the stem of this uncontrolled T-intersection.

TOW-AWAY, NO PARKING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH

Phelan Avenue, east side, from Cloud Circle (north) to 108 feet northerly.

RED ZONES - ESTABLISH

Laguna Street, west side, from Francisco Street to 10 feet northerly;

Laguna Street, west side within the intersection, from Francisco Street to 12 feet northerly;

Laguna Street, east side, from Francisco Street to 12 feet southerly.

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH

Clay Street, north side, from 207 to 255 feet west of Stockton Street (48 foot zone for 6 feet wide bulb-out);

Clay Street, south side, from Joice Street to 25 feet westerly;

Washington Street, north side, from Stone Street to Trenton Street (58 foot zone for 6 feet wide bulb-out);

Washington Street, south side, from 153 feet east of Powell Street to 183 feet easterly (30 foot long zone).

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH

15th Street, north side, from 18 feet east of Minna Street to 71 feet easterly (53-foot zone for 7 foot wide bulb-out);

15th Street, south side, from Capp Street to 21 feet westerly (20-foot zone for 6-foot wide bulb-out);

15th Street, south side, from Capp Street to 21 feet easterly (21-foot zone for 7-foot wide bulb-out);

Capp Street, west side, from 15th Street to 25 feet southerly (25-foot zone for 10-foot wide bulb-out); and

Capp Street, east side, from 15th Street to 37 feet southerly (37-foot zone for 6-foot wide bulb-out).

TOW-AWAY, NO STOPPING ANYTIME - ESTABLISH

Balboa Street, south side, from 37th Avenue to 60 feet westerly (60-foot zone for 6-foot wide bulb-out).

RIGHT TURN ONLY - ESTABLISH

Essex Street, northbound at Folsom Street.

NO LEFT TURN - ESTABLISH

Essex Street, southbound at Harrison Street;

Folsom Street, westbound at Main Street.

BUS STOP - ESTABLISH

Folsom Street, south side, between Beale Street and Fremont Street;

Folsom Street, north side, between 1st Street and Essex Street.

METERED MOTORCYCLE PARKING - REVOKE

Folsom Street, south side, from Beale Street to 165 feet easterly (removes 47 motorcycle spaces).

BUS STOP, 3:00 PM TO 7:00 PM, MONDAY THROUGH FRIDAY - ESTABLISH

Fremont Street, northbound, between Folsom Street and Harrison Street.

NO RIGHT TURN EXCEPT BUSES - ESTABLISH

Howard Street, eastbound at Main Street.

NO LEFT TURN EXCEPT BUSES - ESTABLISH

Harrison Street, eastbound at Essex Street.

NO RIGHT TURN - ESTABLISH

Harrison Street, westbound at Essex Street.

BUS STOP - REVOKE

Main Street, east side, from Howard Street to 140 feet southerly (140-foot zone for Golden Gate Transit).

METERED MOTORCYCLE PARKING - ESTABLISH

Main Street, east side, from Howard Street to 140 feet southerly (establishes 39 motorcycle spaces).
