How to Sell Parking Cards and Muni Passes, Passports, and Tokens

If you have a business that has been open for at least one year at its current address, and would like to sell Parking Cards and Muni Passes, Passports, or Tokens to the public, please contact:

Information for Prospective SFMTA Sales Vendors

Thank you for your interest in becoming a Parking Card and/or Muni Pass vendor. By contacting

you will receive an Application. You will need to complete and return it to Muni Revenue & Collections with the following documents:

  • Certificate of Insurance (The policy should cover Commercial General Liability Insurance with limits not less than $1,000,000 and Comprehensive Crime Insurance, in the amount of $10,000).
  • Fictitious Business Name Statement, Business License or Seller’s Permit.
  • Articles of Incorporation (if your business is an incorporated organization. The articles must be recorded and certified by State of California).
  • Articles of Organization for LLC (if your business is a Limited Liability Company). The articles must be recorded and certified by State of California).
  • By Laws, Charters, or minutes of meeting naming organization officers or Statement by Domestic Non-Profit corporation (If your business is a Non-Profit Organization).

Once we receive your application, we will review all the documents and check on your credit. We will inform you in writing if your application is approved or not approved. Please note you are required to be in business, at the present location, for at least 1 (one) year.

We are currently offering the following passes and tokens to our vendors. You will be paid a commission of $0.25 for each ticket or each bag of tokens sold. We also provide delivery and pick up ticket services without extra cost to you.

  • Monthly Adult Fast Pass
  • Monthly Senior Pass (for patrons aged 65 or older)
  • Disabled Monthly Fare Sticker for disabled patrons – only valid when affixed to RTC (Regional Transit Connection) ID Card
  • Monthly Youth Pass (for ages 5-17)
  • Adult Weekly Pass
  • 1 bag of Tokens (10 tokens per bag)
  • 1-day unlimited rides Passport
  • 3-days unlimited rides Passport
  • 7-days unlimited rides Passport
  • $20 Parking Card
  • $50 Parking Card

(A minimum order of 50 combination tickets is requested).
