SFMTA ANNOUNCES ELECTION NIGHT TRANSIT AND TRAFFIC IMPACTS

San Francisco—On Tuesday, November 4, 2008, the San Francisco Municipal Transportation Agency (SFMTA) will adjust some Muni service in anticipation of large crowds in the vicinity of Castro and Market streets. Transit customers and motorists should expect delays and allow extra travel time throughout the area.

By 7:00 p.m., the following Muni trolley bus routes and the F Market historic streetcar line will be motorized (i.e. biodiesel buses substituted for electric vehicles):

•      24 Divisadero

•      33 Stanyan
