Aw, shucks! We’re blushing over here from the accolades our Livable Streets team, part of the agency’s Sustainable Streets division, received from SF Beautiful, San Francisco’s premiere city beautification organization. On October 8, our team won the Best Public Program at SF Beautiful’s Beautification Awards!
District 8 Supervisor, Scott Weiner, announced the award highlighting the team’s recent work on the Polk Street contraflow bike lane and ongoing efforts to make San Francisco streets safer and more beautiful.
Mike Sallaberry, Darby Watson, and Jerry Robbins were on-hand to accept the award and thank all of the passionate and hardworking SFMTA staff, as well as our community and city partners.
