World Series
Friday & Saturday, 5 p.m.
AT&T Park

The eyes of the sports world will shine on the City by the Bay once again this weekend as the San Francisco Giants host the Kansas City Royals for games three and four of the World Series at AT&T Park with a possible game five waiting in the wings.

For a franchise steeped in baseball history dating back to 1883, this crop of Giants look to be the first in team history to win three world titles in a five year span, and the eighth championship overall. Whether you have tickets to the games (lucky you!), will be watching at your favorite haunt with a few dozen of your closest friends, or simply staying at home, wear your black and orange with pride and “root, root, root for the Giants!”

The area in and around AT&T Park along The Embarcadero to King Street will see heavy pedestrian and vehicle traffic. Motorists are advised to avoid the area before and after each game if possible.

Muni offers both train and bus service to AT&T Park courtesy of the N Judah, and T Third lines, plus there will be additional ballpark shuttle train service. Baseball fans can also utilize the 10 Townsend, 30 Stockton, 45 Union/Stockton, and 47 Van Ness routes.

Don't forget, the San Francisco Bike Coalition also operates bike parking at AT&T Park. Bicycle parking is located on the south side of the ballpark, along the Port Walk, and opens two hours before every game and closes 30 minutes after each game.

There are also Bay Area Bike Share pick-up and drop-off locations near AT&T Park at the Caltrain Depot at 4th and Townsend as well as Townsend and 2nd streets.

Taxi stands are also available near the park on event days:

  • 3rd Street (west side) just north of King Street
  • 2nd Street (west side) between Brannan and Townsend streets (post-event only)
  • 2nd Street (west side) between Townsend and King streets (event days only—not available post-event)

Muni service note: Due to increased ridership and heavy street traffic, service on the N Judah and T Third lines will see delays in both directions between Embarcadero Station and Fourth and King streets.
