The low income boot removal fee must be paid in person at the SFMTA Customer Service Center, 11 South Van Ness Avenue (near Market Street).
Income Requirements
The Low Income Tow and Boot Removal fees are available to the registered owner, renter, or lessee if their annual income is at or below 200% of the Federal Poverty Level. Income limits by household size are listed below.

How do I get the discount?
If you are in possession of a current Lifeline, Medi-Cal, EBT card, or WIC benefits app on your phone then please provide that card to the clerk at the SFMTA Customer Service Center or AutoReturn.
If you do not have one of the cards listed above, please follow the directions listed on the Income Verification Form.
