Page Slow Street: Fact Sheet (Fall 2021)

Share this:
Update (Jun 2022): This summer, the SFMTA proposes restricting eastbound vehicle traffic on Page Street at Stanyan Street and Masonic Avenue, both school safety zones not addressed formally by the pandemic-related restrictions on non-local traffic (due to traffic signals). The project team will seek feedback on these proposals and modifications to passenger loading zones for two institutions at an Engineering Public Hearing on Friday, July 8th, at 10am. Project staff plans for a comprehensive review of the larger corridor later this year alongside citywide recovery, including the proposal to add eastbound and westbound traffic diversion at the Divisadero Street intersection. Read our recent project update to learn more.

In Spring 2021, the SFMTA and the Fehr and Peers consultant team conducted a comprehensive operational analysis to better understand impacts and pressure points in the circulation system as a result of  the COVID-19 temporary closures of roads in Golden Gate Park and along the Great Highway. The attached summary memo contains “key findings” as well as the methodology.
