As part of the Mission Traction Power Improvement Project, crews are scheduled to work on installing new conduits and protected wires to support trolley coach service, underground traction cables to power Muni overhead wires and reconstruct several curb ramps.

Those traveling on the corridor are advised to stay alert and allow more travel time during construction. A recommended alternative for people traveling by bike in the area is Howard Street, which has a dedicated bike lane. At times, bus stops along Mission Street and intersecting streets may need to be relocated for construction needs. Signage will direct riders to temporary stops.

The work listed below is scheduled for daytimes, 8 a.m. to 3 p. m., unless otherwise noted.

The following Mission Traction Power Improvement Project construction forecast is subject to change, including the possibility for work during the weekend. For more project details, please visit the Mission Traction Power Improvement Project page.
